Faces of the FIFA World Cup 2014

In the summer of 2014 I was not live at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil, but I followed the tournament, broadcasted¬†in the land of the FIFA World Cup champions, Germany, since¬†I live in Freiburg, in the south-west part of the country. Thousands of fans watched their national teams on huge screens at large public areas and experienced the world’s biggest soccer event as if they were in the stadiums. Assigned by the regional newspaper Badische Zeitung, I had the opportunity to regularly capture some of the more colorful and emotional faces of those fans.
